Approaching one year a baby needs about 11 mg of iron a day, more than their father. Minced beef and red kidney beans are an iron- and protein-dense pairing.
Bean prep: soak dried kidney beans overnight and boil until fully soft, or use rinsed no-salt canned beans.

- 2 tbsp cooked red kidney beans
- 30 g pumpkin
- 1 clove garlic
- 200 ml beef broth
- 1 tsp coconut oil

- 2
Combine with rice, beans, diced pumpkin and broth in a heat-proof bowl.
- 3
